Michael graduated from the University of Texas School of Law. Before joining the firm in 1995, he was a briefing attorney for U.S. District Judge Royal Furgeson. His practice areas include civil litigation and family law. He is currently a member of the Standing Committee on Professionalism for the State Bar of Texas. He has received the highest A.V. rating by Martindale-Hubbell. Texas Monthly has also selected Michael as a "Rising Super Lawyer."
He spends his spare time with his wife and three children. He also enjoys running.
